Works well for flaring quick copper connections. Professional look.
Fantastic product and time saver. Takes some getting used to, so I would suggest practicing on scrap tubing first.
I bought these for my husband for Father's Day. He works in the HVAC field. My husband uses these frequently on the job. He says they make the job much easier. I can tell you that my husband LOVES these drill bits and uses them all the time. Very happy customer!!
I honestly can not say enough about this set! I had seen it previously on shelves at parts houses but I could never bring myself to pay so much for "a set of bits". When this tool popped up on my Amazon feed I thought "Why not?" I had a lot of credits so I ordered the set. Well... This set of swages has since become the most used tool in my bag. I am never using couplings again! This set has reduced my soldering time by about ⅓. Plus my soldering looks a lot cleaner too as there is only one joint instead of two. If you're considering buying the Spin swage set but you're on the fence about whether or not it's worth the price, get it. It is well worth the money and then some. There is one thing I want to mention as a word of warning. Be aware that these bits are heat activated. The piece of copper you are swaging is going to get HOT. And it doesn't happen instantly so it can be easy to not notice at first. Not brazing level hot, but hot enough to burn your hand if you're not careful. If you're still reading this then I applaud you . I could go on for days about this product but I will go ahead and end with that. Seriously folks, buy this set. You will not be disappointed.
Works great -as advertised-, but you'll need leather gloves and with the 7/8" a little muscle.
Works on a pressure and heat principle (min 1800 rpm's drill- cordless 18v or corded about 4.1 Amps or 500 watts.)
